Conveyancing Made Simple
Once your offer is accepted, we guide you through every step of the legal transfer process.
What is conveyancing?
Conveyancing is the legal process of transferring property ownership, but it doesn't need to be stressful. I work closely with trusted solicitors and personally oversee the progress of your sale or purchase, keeping everyone informed and chasing things along the way. From the moment an offer is accepted right through to completion, I'll be your one point of contact, making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.
From Offer to Completion
From offer accepted to completion day, discover how the conveyancing process works and what to expect along the way.
Offer Accepted – Once your sale is agreed, we’ll issue the Memorandum of Sale to both parties and their solicitors, then liaise with everyone to get the legal process underway.
Contract Preparation - Your solicitor prepares the draft contract, while you'll be asked to complete the necessary property information forms.
Searches & Enquiries - The buyer’s solicitor carries out the necessary searches and raises any questions. Your solicitor provides the relevant information, while we stay in close contact to help keep everything moving.
Exchange of Contracts - Once all legal checks are complete and contracts are signed, your solicitors exchange contracts, making the sale legally binding and confirming your completion date.
Completion Day - Once the final funds have been received, the sale is complete and the keys can be handed over. We'll personally oversee those final arrangements to ensure a smooth handover.
Post-completion - Your solicitor registers the sale with the Land Registry.
